Fraternal Delegation Trip to Florence

Fraternal Delegation Trip to Florence

On Sunday, May 18, we experienced a trip to Florence organized for the entire Italy Delegation. Thanks to Clara, the guide who accompanied us to discover the city, we discovered the history and beauty of several places including the Baptistery named after St. John the Baptist and the Cathedral of the Dome, Santa Maria del Fiore. Some of us also tackled the 414 steps of the bell tower and enjoyed from up there a view
wonderful view of the city.

We all had lunch together, then resumed our visit by dividing into smaller groups depending on what we still wanted to visit. Among the most popular choices were Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, L’ Annunziata and Santa Maria Novella.

It was a very beautiful day of fraternity spent together.

Special thanks to the sisters who took care of the organization to make this beautiful day possible.
