Evangelization in Cagliari

From Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th October, Sr Monica, Sr Antonella and Sr Viviana participated together with

about 50 missionaries, including friars, nuns and especially young people, who gathered at the convent of San Mauro in Cagliari for a few days of evangelisation.

They went out into the streets and places where young people gather, from shopping streets to university classrooms, from sports centres to pubs and nightclubs, to personally invite them to the Ten Words programme that would begin on Sunday 19 October. The goal was to reach everyone, wherever they were, so that they could open their hearts to the Word of Life of the Lord .

The real spiritual driving force behind the whole weekend was the uninterrupted Eucharistic adoration from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday 18th.

While the missionaries were busy meeting people on the streets, others took turns silently praying before the Blessed Sacrament, offering prayers and songs of praise.
